Introduction to Gran Canaria

An all year round holiday spot. Nearly all of the gay bars/restaurants etc. are located in the Yumbo Shopping Centre in Playa del Inglés on the south coast of Gran Canaria. It's a very camp gay scene and of course has one of the most spectacular carnivals in Europe. If you're a beach lover, it has some huge, almost desert like beaches, but they are best reached by taxi.
